Your Donation Has a Direct Impact on Northern Nevada Dance
Thank you for visiting our donation page. Sierra Nevada Ballet strives to be northern Nevada’s most creative, artistic, and educational ballet company in the region and aims to bring well-loved, classical, and modern performances to stages for all ages. During this challenging period, a donation from you directly supports SNB, Sierra Nevada Ballet Academy, and various aspiring young dancers.
Since 2001, Sierra Nevada Ballet (SNB) has created and performed dance productions throughout northern Nevada and created educational programs and academies in schools, community outreach, and through its varying community partnerships. SNB currently has an artistic staff of 29 dancers and 10 Trainees, a professional teaching staff, a production staff of five, and an administrative staff of three. Up to 30 volunteers serving more than 200 hours per year enable SNB to entertain more than 10,000 residents and tourists annually including 4,000 school children. Receiving funding for its educational outreach and public performances from a wide range of institutions and donors, SNB is one of only four arts organizations in the state to receive a Challenge America grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for 2015.
Sierra Nevada Ballet offers a full season of performances from May through December in an 800-square mile service region extending from northeastern California to northwestern Nevada serving a critical need in the region and has grown in popularity and in artistry over its fourteen years. The Sierra Nevada Ballet Board has approved a ten-year plan to include the employment of its dancers and staff for an extended contract period of 10 months per year.
Your donations allow us to continue serving northern Nevada youth, creating education programs, providing professional ballet accessible to all, and will help us support our dancers, staff, academies, and outreach efforts.
Your contribution has a direct impact on our ability to provide the community professional ballet performances and premier dance education programs. Donations/contributions may be tax-deductible. Sierra Nevada Ballet is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization as determined by the IRS, making donations tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Business and Corporate Sponsorships
Several donation and sponsorship opportunities are available for our business and corporate supporters. Some of our opportunities include:
- Sponsorship of in-kind support. For example, a $3,000.00 media support affords you 6 tickets to a performance of your including our VIP reception, as well as a ¼ page ad in the performance programs for that year.
- Host a fundraising event. There are a multitude of options from a simple raffle for tickets to a SNB performance, silent auctions, wine tasting events, fashion shows, golf or pickleball tournaments, or a full evening with dinner and presentation by SNB. We will be happy to work with you to design an event that fits your needs.
- A monetary donation. Each donation enjoys the same benefits as our Membership donations along with discounted ad costs for performance programs.
- Program Advertisers. Our current rates range from $500 for a full page as to $150 for a business card ad. All ads include 2 tickets to a performance of your choice.
- Create a donation matching program for your employees or add Sierra Nevada Ballet as a choice to an existing program.
- Create volunteer programs and/or incentives for your employees with SNB.
Sponsorships of over $5000.00 or more include your logo or company name in all print media, public announcements in certain programs, group of tickets for your distribution to employees or friends and family and different ad types in all programs.
